British. c1960s. A lovely & increasingly rare set of 4 drawers in excellent original condition.
A. Younger Ltd was a high end British manufacturer who consistently produced furniture using solid wood (and thus more costly) rather than many other producers of the time who would typically employ veneer over cheaper materials. This chest of drawers is no exception, with very solid teak / afrormosia construction and fabulous proportions; styled overhanging top, lovely drawer pulls, slight variation in drawer size and elegant tapering legs.
A larger than average chest of drawers, so a huge amount of storage on offer here.
Measures 114cm wide x 105cm high x 48cm deep.
