Solid LIMed Oak
British c1952. Stunning limed oak 2 over 3 drawer chest very much in the manner of Heals pieces of the era.
Complete with Wake & Dean stamp with date mark to the reverse. Other inventory markings indicate this chest was likely to have started life in government, similar to many Air Ministry pieces of the 50s.
In excellent condition; Solid oak construction, hand sanded and limed with multiple wax polish layers gives a striking, hard wearing finish.
