c1950’s, British. A beautifully proportioned minimalist light oak Stag bedside table by John & Sylvia Reid with Danish inspired pretty angular legs and elegant handles. A single open shelf above a cupboard with shelf. Constructed primarily from a quality light oak veneer with original black laminate to the top.
The ‘C range’ (shortened from Cumberland) was introduced in 1953 and designed by the Reids’, who were originally architects, then joined the firm in 1952.
Measures 38cm wide x 38cm deep x 69cm high
In excellent condition, lightly refurbished with a hand sand and wax.
