DANISH BEDSIDE TABLES
Great things come in small Mid Century packages! Incredibly rare to find a pair of these Danish bedside tables, made even more elusive by their teak construction, compared to the more common rosewood variety.
Severin Hansen is a furniture designer well renowned for his exquisite joinery with these tables being no exception. The elegant angular shapes, high quality cane shelf and trademark corner joint work to the tapering legs make this pair something really quite special. Both come complete with their original Haslev & ‘Danish Control’ labels to the underside of each of the drawers.
Each measures 50cm wide x 35cm deep x 50cm high
In excellent vintage condition throughout. Both tables are solid with no crack or wobbles. Importantly the cane shelves are fully in tact. There are some minor ‘nicks’ to the sides and top of one of the tables and some slight staining to the cane on the back of 1 table. Plenty more detail photos available on request.
