P.E. GANE SET OF 4 TABLES
MODERNIST BEECH TABLES
British, c1950s. Acquired from Ken Stradling of The Stradling Collection.
A truly stunning and substantial set of early modernist tables by P.E. Gane Ltd of Bristol in a quality light beech. The proportions of each table gives an incredible geometric pattern when put together as a set. There are various different ways they can be arranged. The legs each have an elegant chamfered cut on the inside and the set is nicely finished off with stretchers on the smallest table. Could be displayed as a set of 4 or perhaps as a 3 and then use the largest table separately. Makers label are applied to the largest and smallest table.

In excellent condition. Each table has been refinished by hand and had a good beeswax polish for protection. There are some slight historic marks to the base of some of the legs.
