EARLY 20th CENTURY DESK / SIDE TABLE
SOLID OAK
British, c1920s. This is a high quality desk very much in the Cotswold School style in the manner of Gordon Russell. This piece is contructed from stunning quarter sawn warm oak. The slightly tapering legs and elegant thin drawer elevates the simple design too. The drawer is dovetail jointed to the front and back. Overall this table has lovely proportions.
Measures; 75.5cm wide x 76.5cm high x 60cm deep.
In excellent condition, this piece has had a light hand refinish to keep its character and then freshly beeswax polished.
