HEALS ERA LIMED OAK TALLBOY
British, circa early 1900's. A beautiful limed oak tallboy / chest of drawers in uncanny resemblance to similar designs by Heals of London from the same era. 4 stunning bevel edge fronted drawers with cupboard space above split with a central shelf (This shelf is glued in but would not be hard to remove if one wanted to use the larger space). Stunning simple handles and the drawers are made from solid oak throughout with quality dovetail joints.
Measures; 76cm wide x 114cm high x 43cm deep (including handles)
The tallboy is in very good refinished condition with only very minor signs of wear and tear commensurate with age. The piece has been completely refinished with a delicate hand sand, freshly limed and then extensivelty beeswax polished. There are some stains to the inside of the cupboard section however the interior has been lightly sanded and cleaned.
