British c1950s. Authentic hairpin legs!!!! Not to be mistaken with ubiquitous modern day copies, this is an iconic Mid Century design classic. This substantial table is designed by Paul Bridston for Kandya in the 1950s with the most stunning hairpin legs and a quality red formica top surface with pretty design detail. These tables incorporated patterns from many British design heavyweights of the time, such as Lucienne Day. Comes with makers label to the underside (partially distorted)
Measures 106cm wide x 72cm high x 68cm deep.
A versatile piece that could either be a kitchen table as it was originally designed to be or would make an awesome desk & creative workspace.
In fantastic vintage condition, the paint on the legs is still excellent. The formica top is in particularly good condition with no lifting to the edges and some very, very tiny surface scratches that can only be seen in very bright light & at certain angles. There are no structural issues
