JENTIQUE SIDEBOARD
British, c1960s. Lovely teak finished sideboard produced by quality British maker Jentique. This piece has strong Danish influences, with the stubby tapering legs & beautiful solid inset handles. The lower 2 drawers have pretty dovetail joints with 2 sliding doors above.
Jentique made a more commonly seen bookcase version of this piece which came with glass sliding doors. This is the rarer sideboard version with the fancier teak front as opposed to glass. Inside the top section one finds versatile storage space, The right hand side is split in 2 with a shelf in the middle while the left side is an open space
Measures 122cm wide x 82cm high x 43cm deep.
In very good vintage condition and the piece has clearly been well looked after. The sideboard has been deep cleaned, Danish oiled and polished. There is just general low level wear and tear commensurate with it’s age, please see photos. The only specific condition note is that on the inside of the cupboard there is a small area of veneer missing from the shelf. This is on the inside and very minor, it cannot be seen with the doors closed.
