INGVAR KAMPRAD FOR HABITAT
A pair of solid pine stools in black lacquer finish designed by Igvar Kamprad for the limited run Habitat VIP Collection in 2004. VIP stood for “Very Important Products”.
Igvar Kamprad is the founder of Ikea and was invited to conceive a piece in collaboration with Habitat. He chose to design a modern homage to the classic milking stool as a reminder of his youth in rural Sweden on a dairy farm. It is unusual to come across pairs of these.
