TEAK SIDEBOARD FOR HOMEWORTHY
British, c1960s. Stunning low teak sideboard, very strongly influenced by the Danish design aesthetic of the era by the quality British maker Homeworthy. The angular tapering legs have a nice ‘V’ detail within them and the 4 drawers have elegant inset handles. This well made sideboard is finished in teak with a slightly contrasting solid Afromosia teak forming the curved edge around the top.
Measures 152cm wide x 71.5cm high x 41cm deep.
In excellent condition, the main body has been delicately refinished by hand with a light hand sand. The ageing varnish has been removed and followed up with a multiple coats of Danish oil and then polished.
