HENNING KJÆRNULF FOR SORø STOLEFABRIK
Danish, c1960s. A Mid Century teak desk chair by Henning Kjærnulf for Sorø Stolefabrik. This piece has a solid mellow teak frame and bow tie stretchers to the front and back. The arms have particularly pleasing shape and angles to them. The upholstery is serviceable but ideally it really needs to be recovering and is priced accordingly. A great desk or occassional chair.
Measures: 77cm High x 61cm Wide x 56cm Deep
The frame is in excellent condition, all joints are solid and sturdy and the are no chips. The fabric on the backrest is good, the seat fabric has a 1.5-2cm worn area and other general wear and very small holes. It is serviceable but will need replacing relatively soon. The upholstery/foam is still good.
Very similar to the other Danish chair designs of Johannes Andersen, Arne Wahl Iversen & Erik Buch.
