British, 1955. A quality Mid Century oak 2 drawer table very much in the Cotswold school aesthetic. The paired back piece is a rich oak with subtle bevel detail to the drawers and legs. To the underside the Russell Of Broadway stamp is clear along with a stamp for the War Department (with crown) as well as the year of construction 1955. The grain pattern to the top surface is absolutely stunning. This would make for an attractive console table or functional desk.
Measures; 99cm wide x 81cm high x 50cm deep.
In excellent condition. Both drawers open and close freely, it is solid on its legs and clean throughout. There are no splits. Has had a light polish.
