“Coxwell” MODEL 747
British, 1929. A very fine and highly sought after cotswold school piece by one of the most renowned British furniture designers, Gordon Russell. Uniquely the side table is made from Australian walnut and has 3 elegant dovetail jointed drawers with chanmfered handles, typical of the Coxwell range. The detailed Russell of Broadway makers label is found on the underside of the top drawer identifying this piece as ‘model 747’.
Measures; 45.5cm Wide x 76.5cm High x 45cm Deep.
In excellent original condition. There are no chips or splits. The drawers all open and close freely. There are 2 small surface scratches to the top that can only be seen in certain light and angles.
