SET OF 6 DANISH DESIGN DINING CHAIRS
Split rail, beech, paper cord dining chairs. Unusual to find a full set of 6 in good condition like this.
Unmarked but almost certainly Danish in origin, very much in the manner of Hans Wenger CH23 chairs.
The ‘split rail’ refers to the sides of these chairs where the papercord is weaved onto double rather than a single strut. The original cord on all 6 seats is fully intact, stable with no splits. There are signs of general wear and tear to the frames in the form of small scuffs and marks but there are NO chips, splits and large dents of note.
